What and when?

Unbroken Strength CUP will find out who is the strongest in Finland! After three events the best athletes will compete for the podium spots on the 25.5 final event.

 

In the first Strength Cup event athletes will test their deadlift and back squat strength in combination with max reps of shoulder to overhead.

How to participate?

You can claim a competition pass, which includes the right to participate in all three competitions, from the attached link.

 

The price of the competition pass is €45

​

If you wish, you can participate in individual competitions directly in the reppi.fi service (individual competition €19)

 

The competition fee of €45 for the live competition is paid separately against the competition invitation.

In 2024, the Strength CUP will see 8 competition series

​

In the youth category, the competitor must be under 18 years old until April 28, 2024.

 

In the Masters series, the competitor must be of the age of the required series by January 22, 2024.

What does it contain?

Strength CUP competitions include movements familiar from weightlifting and powerlifting and they are built to measure both maximum strength and strength endurance.

 

Movements can include, for example, barbell squats, deadlifts, vertical push-ups and side-by-side pull-ups, squats and pull-ups.

 

More detailed information about sports and movements will be added to the reppi.fi application when the sport is published.

Awards

Podium Gym Solution will reward the winners of the general category handsomely. Awards are presented after the final event day 25.5.

 

The winner will receive a Torgue weight lifting bar and 20 kg plate weights.

 

In other series, the winners receive a certificate for the title of Finland's strongest athlete, and they are also rewarded with merchandise prizes from partners.

Video recording of the performance

Your competition performance must be videotaped and uploaded to YouTube or another streaming service where it can be easily viewed.

 

The video link is placed in the reppi.fi service when the results are entered.

 

The contestant is personally responsible for being able to watch the video in the manner required for judging. More detailed instructions can be found closer to the competition in the reppi.fi service under the rules.

 

We check the performance videos of the top 10 from each series, as well as randomly among 50 athletes in the general series.

What equipment is needed and where can the sports be performed?

You can perform the sports anywhere that has the following equipment/performance locations:

  • Plate bar 20kg or 15kg

  • Plate weights with kg marking

  • A squat rack or similar

  • Bench press position

  • Chin up bar
